Good Corporate Governance is not just a buzzword but a guiding tenet as to how a corporation should conduct itself in regard to running its business. SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION poses this challenge to all existing and emerging companies being tasks as a regulating government agency.
Under the stewardship of its top executives namely: Jericho Sison, President and CEO and Edgardo Marquez, Executive Vice President and CMO, Good Corporate Governance has been mandated to be observed across all layers of the organization. Marquez said that, “ It is on this note that we should emphasize participatory, consensus oriented, accountable, transparent, responsive, effective and efficient, equitable and inclusive and follows the rule of law within our organization.
We have been consistent in our compliance with all government agencies. We should all the more continue as such as we are headed to embark in becoming bigger corporation in the future.
As such, the executives have directed Mr. Ace David, its External Auditor and Legal counsel Atty. Dave Yap to meet with Mr. Gerardo F. Del Rosario, Director of the Company Registration and Monitoring Department of the Securities and Exchange Commission to ensure that the company is aligned with state law and in compliance with the regulatory authority.
Atty. Del Rosario said, “I appreciate your visit very much in my office and taking the initiative and cooperation. This is a good exercise.”
The said meeting was held on August 22, 2019 in the SEC Office in PICC, Pasay City.
